The Club Pecqueur Motorists is intended for enthusiasts of the Mechanical Arts in all their rich diversity. I assume you’re one of them – as I am myself! All my life, I’ve been fascinated by beautiful cars, powerful motorbikes, exceptional planes, luxury motor cruisers, haute horlogerie timepieces, and all the other mechanical marvels born of human ingenuity.

Very few people know that the first automobile engineer was actually a watchmaker! Onésiphore Pecqueur was a virtuoso mathematician and genius inventor. In the early 19th century he invented the differential mechanism, and began to develop applications for watchmaking and the nascent automobile industry. When we decided that the membership card to our Club would be an exclusive watch, the obvious next step was to pay tribute to the pioneering spirit of Pecqueur by equipping the watch with a differential.
